This is for the stock hotend that comes with the Anet A2. Using matt448 E3D v6 Blower Fan Adapter as a template, I customized the adapter to reach more of the 40mm heat sink fins and created a mounting for the part cooler. I also made the part cooler modular to test different part cooler shrouds without having to reprint a complete part cooler assembly. I created a rectangular shroud in Tinkercad to test. I have adapted the collar to a Ciicooler for testing as well. The blower mountings are...

I've used it in 115+ hours of Pavlov VR with my Quest 2. I have modified the original handles for a snugger fit and also added in the necessary gap for my Quest 2 Knuckle Straps. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4625623 For my own immersion experience, I added a second magnet for the non dominant hand so I can hold the barrel with either...

I used matt448's E3D v6 Blower Fan Adapter as a template. I modified the base adding mounting for the part cooler. Part cooler height is easily adjustable. I use this base to test other cooler designs by adapting them with a modular collar. This reduces need to reprint an entire cooler design. The blower mountings are fitted for 5015 blowers and toolless mounting.

Since I've had this A2 Plus printer, I've been printing on Borosilicate glass bed and using clear gluestick for better adhesion. Most of the time, the prints would stick just fine. Sometimes, I would discover that I didn't have enough gluestick coverage on the bed and the prints would lift and a few times, break free while printing. I've always like the idea of easily removable and flexible bed surface. Of course you want the best combination of bonding without lifting the bed for large prints....

I have the Anet A2 Plus with the 270 bed. I didn't feel the need (right now) to use the whole bed for my printing needs. 220 glass is more readily available and so that is what I went with. I am using thermal pads on the corners to adhere the glass to the bed. The measurements for these clips account for centering 220x220 glass on a 220x270 heated bed: (3mm hotbed) + (0.5mm thermal pad) + (3mm glass) There are notches on the underside of the clips to avoid interference with the bed leveling...

This is my customization of Banholm's Magnetic X with repositioning of Derollmann's BLTouch inclusion. For my application, I wanted to move the BLTouch to the front and right of the carriage. I also created a holder for the BLTouch to lower it enough to reach the bed when using the stock hotend that comes with the Anet A2. I also use an E3D-V6 hotend. When using Banholm's V6 mount, I could not lower the Z-axis gantry enough to reach the bed so I designed a new V6 mount that lowered it enough to...

Using Freddy_Fox's design, I had to adjust the mountings to accommodate my setup that uses a custom version of Olev's Single Stepper Dual Z setup. I needed to move the set screw mounting to another location on the ZX-axis Gantry. I decided on mounting the set screw holder on the inside of Z screw since it did not interfere with the X carriage. The relay holder also had to be extended in two directions to align properly with the set screw. I applied heat to the M5 nut to secure it into set screw...

The BoboVR M2 Halo headstrap is very comfortable for long wear. I created a Battery mount for it since I usually play around 4 hours when I'm using my Quest 2. I like the universal battery mounting system posted by kreanym October 21, 2020. I used his design to create this battery mount on the back of the M2. Credit to kreanym for this mounting system of which I included his mounting plate (part4.STL) in this post. DIY Quest 2 Elite Strap (soon with battery) by kreanym October 21, 2020...

Because of the high eccentricities (~0.3) of two of the possible planets about the star Upsilon Andromeda, the stability of the system requires careful study. We present results of 1000 numerical simulations which explore the orbital parameter space as constrained by the observations. The orbital parameters of each planet are chosen from a Gaussian error distribution, and the resulting configuration is integrated for 1,000,000 years. We find that 84% of these integrations are stable....

This review examines progress on the Pop I, fundamental-mode Cepheid distance scale with emphasis on recent developments in geometric and quasi-geometric techniques for Cepheid distance determination. Specifically I examine the surface brightness method, interferometric pulsation method, and trigonometric measurements. The three techniques are found to be in excellent agreement for distance measures in the Galaxy. The velocity p-factor is of crucial importance in the first two of these methods....

We present results of numerical simulations which examine the dynamical stability of known planetary systems, a star with two or more planets. First we vary the initial conditions of each system based on observational data. We then determine regions of phase space which produce stable planetary configurations. For each system we perform 1000 ~1 million year integrations. We examine upsilon And, HD83443, GJ876, HD82943, 47UMa, HD168443, and the solar system (SS). We find that the resonant...

This article is from The Psychiatric Bulletin , volume 38 . Abstract Audit is an important tool for quality improvement. The collection of data on clinical performance against evidence-based and clinically relevant standards, which are considered by clinicians to be realistic in routine practice, can usefully prompt reflective practice and the implementation of change. Evidence of participation in clinical audit is required to achieve intended learning outcomes for trainees in psychiatry and...

Among the tens of thousands of known RR Lyrae stars there are only a handful that show indications of possible binarity. The question why this is the case is still unsolved, and has recently sparked several studies dedicated to the search for additional RR Lyraes in binary systems. Such systems are particularly valuable because they might allow to constrain the stellar mass. Most of the recent studies, however, are based on photometry by finding a light time effect in the timings of maximum...
